Founded in 2014 by Andrea Flores and Lucía Soto, Comité de Proyectos is an interior design and furniture studio based in Mexico City. With a background in design since 2010, the studio stands out for its approach to creating livable spaces and functional objects that reflect human emotions and sensations. Its design philosophy is rooted in interiorization, exploring the relationship between individuals and their surroundings to develop personalized and meaningful design solutions. Comité de Proyectos is committed to timeless, transcendent, and durable design, working with materials that evoke warmth, such as natural wood and stone, and subtle colors that convey peace and harmony. In close collaboration with artisan workshops, the studio blends technique with art, crafting pieces that serve as both cultural imprints and functional elements within various spaces. Its portfolio includes over 250 projects in the residential and commercial sectors, including hotels, restaurants, and co-working spaces, along with three collections of sculptural objects exhibited in museums and galleries in Mexico and Europe. Through a balance between the subjective and the functional, craftsmanship and the market, technique and art, Comité de Proyectos continues to redefine interior design with a contemporary vision and a deep respect for materiality and the cultural impact of its creations.
