Gonzalo Mardones is a distinguished Chilean architect, who graduated with Highest Distinction from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. His thesis project, an urban renewal of the South-West Center of Santiago, was awarded First Prize at the Architecture Biennial as the best project among all architecture schools in the country. Throughout his career, Mardones has been a professor and project director at various Chilean universities, including the Pontifical Catholic University, University of Chile, University Central, University Andrés Bello, University of Development, and University Finis Terrae. Additionally, he has been a guest professor and lecturer at universities both in Chile and abroad.
