His pictures document the world, based on a lyrical documentary approach that continues the tradition created by Walker Evans. Favouring creator's invisibility, Amoyel prefers shots and prints that are clear, sharp, and readable, without any effects or artifice. He's been commissioned by renowned French architects. His work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally and is held by the Print and Photography Department of the Bibliothèque nationale de France, the Artothèques of Annecy, Caen, Pessac, as well as by private collectors. He lives and works in Normandy (Western France)
