A Timeless Fusion – Salón Store Secretos del Agua Valladolid by Carolina Gual
The Salón Store Secretos del Agua stands as a sanctuary of serenity and sophistication. It is arranged across two interconnected floors, offering a functional design that separates public and private areas.
On the ground floor, visitors will find the boutique and hairdressing area, while the basement houses a beauty cabin, a multifunctional room, and staff facilities. The visual continuity between walls and ceilings, painted in the same color, and the limited use of materials bring cohesion to the space, reinforcing a sense of unity. The main facade of the salon, with its soft arches and curves, foreshadows the interior design. This neutral exterior acts as a canvas that highlights the brand’s products. Visible from the storefront, the testing island featuring a Campaspero stone fountain invites passersby to engage in a unique sensory experience, connecting with the brand's essential element: water. This detail not only accentuates the branding but also strengthens the emotional connection with visitors.

Upon entering, a discreet reception desk welcomes guests while preserving the privacy of the hairdressing area. Beyond it, the boutique captivates with custom shelving that evokes the charm of a library. Crafted from a combination of wood and painted masonry, these shelves align seamlessly with the floor, creating a unified visual effect. Here, the concept of positive and negative is explored in both form and materials, adding depth to the design.
The heart of the salon, illuminated by natural light streaming through the rear facade, is a space where functionality and aesthetics converge. A large stone table in the waiting area serves multiple purposes: as a meeting point, workspace, or station for color application. The presence of a modern fireplace adds warmth, making this area an inviting spot to relax while awaiting treatments.

The custom-designed styling stations mimic large windows, amplifying natural light to create a bright and welcoming environment for clients. Adjacent to these, the shampoo area is discreetly tucked away, providing a private corner where clients can enjoy moments of peace amidst the salon's activity.
In the basement, the holistic experience of the salon reaches its pinnacle. A lobby featuring a comfortable bench connects to a multifunctional room for activities like yoga and Pilates, reflecting the values of Secretos del Agua: integral well-being and balance. This floor also houses a beauty cabin, designed to offer personalized treatments in a serene setting, along with private staff areas.
Attention to detail is what truly sets this project apart. Every element, from the furniture to the lighting, has been meticulously crafted to reflect the brand’s values. The warmth of wood and the soft lighting create an enveloping effect, inviting clients to relax and immerse themselves in a unique experience.
