Gabriel Gallegos Borges, born in Valladolid in 1956, is a distinguished architect who graduated from the School of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Barcelona in 1980. He began his professional career at the Robert Terradas Architecture Studio in Barcelona in 1979. Throughout his career, he has received numerous accolades, including the Julio Galán Carvajal, ARQANO, COACYLE, and COAVA awards. His work has been selected for prestigious events such as the 10 Years of Spanish Architecture Exhibition (1980–1990), the Spanish Architecture Biennials, and the 35 Years of Spanish Architecture in Democracy (1975–2010) exhibition and publication. His projects have been widely featured in national and international publications. Among his most notable projects are the Palacio de Exposiciones in Santander, Cantabria, the Municipal Cemetery of Villamuriel de Cerrato in Palencia, and the Municipal Archive of San Agustín. He has also designed significant public spaces, such as the Colegio de Abogados y Procuradores and the Parquesol Civic Center in Valladolid, the Simancas Cultural Center, and the Torrente Ballester Municipal Library in Salamanca.
