José Ramón Oller, originally from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, is a photographer specializing in capturing the essence of architecture, blending his professional technique with a personal creative vision that has earned him wide recognition. Since his early steps in the field of photography, his work has been selected for various exhibitions, including the International Biennial of Fotonoviembre in 1995, and more recently in exhibitions such as Espacios Abiertos in Tenerife, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, Lanzarote, and El Hierro (2005-2007). His work has also featured in notable solo exhibitions, such as Paisaje y Arquitectura at the Cabildo de Tenerife Photography Center (2006) and La Ciudad de los Tiempos in La Laguna (2010). In 2015, he presented Creando Espacios at TEA, solidifying his artistic presence both locally and internationally. Throughout his career, Oller has received significant awards, highlighting the mastery of his work. These include the First Regional Photography Prize from Cajacanarias for the series Sinfonía Geométrica (2003), the First International Photography Prize Rafael Ramos García for Sueños de Gloria (2007), and the First Prize in the Tenerife Desvelado competition in 2011. His ability to capture the geometry and the relationship between architecture and landscape has been recognized both in Spain and abroad, having exhibited in renowned festivals such as the SAFOTO FESTIVAL in San Antonio, Texas, in 2006. José Ramón Oller's work has been published in prestigious magazines and featured in several specialized books on contemporary architecture in the Canary Islands. His pieces are part of collections in public and private institutions such as TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes, the Cajacanarias Foundation, and the University of La Laguna, reflecting his ongoing commitment to visual exploration and architectural representation.
